I heart little treasures

Looky what I found at the Antique Mall in Lawrence, KS today:
AND it was only $10!!  Cannot wait to use it for a newborn session!!

Also found this:

Yup, only $10, too.....I thought it would be a fun little accent in my office.

I so wanted to get this for the kids, but since I'm flying home, I have no way to get it back:

Some other fun finds {that I didn't buy}:

Wall hangings--could be so fun for a little girl's room....with some toile bedding....cuteness...

How cool is the inside of this worn, weathered suitcase?

This is one thick book!!

Oh, antique shops may be my new nemesis..

What a week!!

So, I'm a little behind....and kind of missed Valentine's Day.....well....I didn't miss it, I just just didn't get around to posting any pictures.  BUT, I do have a good reason......

Last Sunday {Valentine's Day}, I attended the first birthday party of little Simera.....

Isn't she the most adorable little girl!!
And so spoiled...

I've never seen two more loving parents...Simera is one lucky lady!

Thank you, Holly and Chris, for inviting me to share in your special day!! It was nice to catch up and meet Simera!  {I promise to have the rest done soon}

On Tuesday, I left for San Francisco.
My other job requires that we shop the market place twice or more a year for the latest trends.  I've been lucky enough to travel to New York, LA, Seattle, Chicago, etc.....and this was the first time I brought my nice camera.  I couldn't be happier that I did, because San Francisco is, hands down, my favorite city.  It could have been the 65 degree weather and sunshine that was so dreamy, or the amazing architecture around every corner, or the friendly people, or the clean streets, or the fresh air from walking about 30 miles.....regardless....I fell in love.  If only I could afford a 1.4 million dollar home.....

I have SO much more to blog about (more birthdays, a play date, and just plain cuteness).....but I also have SO many more photos to edit and work to do....oh, and eventually get some sleep!

Saturday

I don't have much to say because, frankly, I'm too tired.  Today was good, bad, fun, and exhausting!  I'll let the photos tell most* of the story...

*what you don't see is the 18 month old tantrum at Marshall's while picking out bedding for a 3 year old......or the EXPLOSIVE diarrhea that occured at Burger King.....and when I say explosive, I mean that in EVERY sense of the word....sight, sound, and, certainly, smell....

Time for some shut-eye...I cannot wait for tomorrow's session with little Miss Simera!!
