Big night...

Our evenings usually consist of: play, eat, bathe, play, read, bed.

So tonight was a real treat.
First stop....SANTA!
(and yes, they are in their Christmas jammies.....we wanted to try something different this year....and I love how it turned out!!)

Lucy did exceptionally well this year--especially compared to last year's visit!  She was so excited to see him and tell him she wanted princess presents.....Well, at first she actually wanted Santa for Christmas, but I explained that he might be difficult to share....so she decided princess presents would be better.  She was smiling the whole way up there...and then when it came time to sit on his lap, she wouldn't look at him.  She wasn't crying or sad, she just would not give him any eye contact or talk to him.....until he busted out the candy canes and coloring books!

Max on the other hand.....was not the least bit interested.  So when we placed him on Santa's lap for a picture, he.freaked.out!  It was hystarical!  Not sure if that makes me a bad mom to laugh at her crying son....but really, he's so dramatic...you can't help but laugh!  And as soon as the photographer distracted him with an ornament, he started laughing (for a second)...so yea, he's a big ol' faker.

They were trying hard to get a photo of them both smiling and looking at the camera all posed.....but why?  Max was scared.  Why try to make the moment something that it wasn't?  I love that it truely captures exactly how he felt.....

THEN....
We picked up Max & Lucy's Christmas gift from us.....

Isn't he the cutest?!  We wanted to have him for Christmas morning, but it just wouldn't work out.  He's a 9 week old Boston Terrier....that is nameless at this point.  Lucy wanted to name him Potter or Cheese...lol.....I told her to keep thinking about it.  He's a little meatier than Maggie was at this age...but that's good, because he has two kids to play with!

So far he is doing excellent!  He LOVES Max and keeps following him around--which Max finds hiliarious!  And Lucy just wants to keep covering him up with blankets.  But, inevidibly, the puppy loves Andy.....they always do.  Them two cuddled all night watching TV......
